Creditors’ Rights / Collections Paralegal

Growing Little Rock law firm specializing in Collections/Creditors' Rights is seeking an organized, proactive Paralegal to help keep cases moving and deadlines on track. This role is a great fit for a self-starter who takes ownership of their work, anticipates next steps, and follows through without frequent reminders.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with debt collection cases from initial filing through judgment and post-judgment proceedings.
- Prepare and organize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents for attorney review.
- File documents electronically and coordinate service of process.
- Maintain case calendars, monitor court deadlines, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Track case activity and keep files and case management records accurate and current.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, process servers, and other parties.
- Assist with garnishments, discovery, and other judgment enforcement activities.
- Handle sensitive financial and legal information confidentially.
Qualifications

Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience; debt collection or civil litigation experience preferred.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.

Initiative to identify what needs attention, prioritize tasks, and keep work moving.

Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with electronic court filing and legal case management software.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and coworkers.

In Office position Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 5:00
