About the Role

URGENT HIRING – CREDIT SALES OFFICER

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State Salary: ₦130,000 – ₦180,000 Net Monthly Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for motivated and results-driven Credit Sales Officers to market loan products to traders, SMEs, and business owners, generate leads, acquire customers, conduct field activities, and follow applications through to disbursement.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate leads and market loan products to traders, SMEs, and business owners.
• Conduct field visits and engage prospective borrowers.
• Explain loan products, eligibility, and repayment terms.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Collect and review required customer documents.
• Support customer verification and pre-disbursement processes.
• Follow up applications from submission to approval and disbursement.
• Meet individual and team sales/disbursement targets.
• Maintain accurate records and submit regular activity reports.
• Collaborate with Credit, Operations, and Recovery teams.
• Ensure activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Experience in sales, business development, financial services, microfinance, lending, or related fields is an advantage.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct field activities.
• Target-driven with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business applications.
• High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
