Credit Portfolio Manager
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Manages credit risk for a portfolio of commercial credit clients and monitors loan performance to ensure that loan quality adheres to guidelines.
- Supports Relationship Managers through financial/credit analysis.
- Researches and analyzes pertinent financial statements. Evaluates a company’s financial risk, business risk, and overall creditworthiness. Prepares written credit memoranda for credit committee approval. When required, presents verbally at credit committee.
- Collects all necessary client prepared information and completes client financial statement spreadsheets and projections of a company’s financial condition.
- Evaluates financial and nonfinancial covenants for credit facilities and monitors covenant compliance.
