About the Role The Credit Manager will be responsible for managing customer credit risk, optimizing the DSO, ensuring the reliability of receivables, and leading the collections process in Senegal.
What You'll Do
- Manage customer credit risk and credit policy adherence
- Optimize payment terms and reduce DSO
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of accounts receivable
- Lead and monitor debt collection activities
- Collaborate with sales and finance to ensure proper risk assessment
- Maintain compliance with financial and legal regulations
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Finance and Accounting (Bac +5) or equivalent experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and financial management/reporting software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical, with ability to synthesize information and work in a team
- Good knowledge of financial and legal regulations
- Result-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Rigorous, meticulous, and professional
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Holder of a valid B category driver's license (Permis B)
