- We’re looking for a Credit Analyst who can help us build a credit function that scales without compromising portfolio quality.
What you’ll do
- Assess distributor creditworthiness: bank statements, cash flow, collateral, and repayment capacity
- Monitor portfolio health by vintage, not just a blended NPL number
- Identify early warning signals before accounts become delinquent
- Review limit increases and reactivations with the same rigor as new applications
- Help translate underwriting judgment into our credit-scoring engine
What you bring:
- 2–5 years’ experience in credit analysis, SME/retail lending or microfinance
- Strong bank statement and cash flow analysis skills
- Comfort working with large transaction datasets — Excel essential; SQL is a plus
- The judgment to say no when the numbers don’t support the risk — even under commercial pressure — and the ability to explain why clearly
