Overview
VURIN Group is seeking an experienced Crane/Forklift Operator to handle lifting and material movement operations while ensuring compliance with equipment safety standards and HSE procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- • Operate mobile, pedestal and overhead cranes, as well as forklifts.
- • Conduct daily equipment inspections and record operating hours and defects.
- • Follow approved lifting plans and instructions from banksmen.
- • Support equipment maintenance, inspections and load testing.
- • Comply with Permit to Work procedures and HSE requirements.
- • Participate in toolbox talks and safety assessments.
- • Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects and incidents.
- • Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper operating records.
Requirements
- • Minimum of SSCE/OND.
- • Certified Crane Operator with API RP 2D qualification.
- • Certified Forklift Operator.
- • Valid BOSIET/OSP certificate for offshore assignments.
- • Minimum of 5 years' crane and forklift operating experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- • Experience operating mobile, pedestal and overhead cranes.
- • Knowledge of crane load charts, lifting plans, hand signals and HSE procedures.
- • Good communication and teamwork skills.
