About the Role
ICON is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA I) to join our diverse and dynamic team in Tokyo on a hybrid office/remote arrangement. As a CRA I you will oversee and coordinate clinical trials, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to data collection and analysis, supporting patient safety and the advancement of innovative therapies. What You'll Do

Coordinate all activities for setting up and monitoring a study, produce accurate study status reports, and maintain study documentation on site or remotely.

Run sponsor-generated queries efficiently and participate in the preparation and review of study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals as required.

Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site staff.

Ensure patient safety by ensuring compliance with ICON’s procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor trial progress (on-site or off-site) to ensure conduct, records, and reporting meet the study protocol, SOPs, ICH/J-GCP, and applicable regulations; collaborate with other clinical team members and sites to resolve issues and coach less experienced staff.

Depending on level (CRA I, II, Senior CRA), you may contribute to startup activities and leadership responsibilities; Senior CRA may lead initiatives in addition to core CRA duties. What We're Looking For

University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent.

Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and the ability to review and evaluate medical data.

Excellent written and verbal English.

Strong communication skills enabling timely handling of queries.

Ability to travel at least 60% of the time (international and domestic) and a valid driver’s license. Compensation & Benefits
