About the Role The world is transforming - and Intel is seeking a CPU Performance Architect to help drive the design and optimization of silicon products that empower digital experiences worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Design and optimize CPU performance architectures to maximize silicon performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate performance goals into architecture decisions and validation plans.
- Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements across CPU blocks.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in computer architecture, microarchitecture, performance modeling, and verification.
- Experience with performance analysis tools, simulators, and modeling frameworks.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence architecture decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Intel microarchitectures, RTL/verification, or EDA tools.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of power, energy, and thermal considerations in CPU design.
