About this role
About the Role The CPU Memory Design Engineer will join Intel's CPU Circuit Technology team to design, develop, and build full-custom and compiler-based memories (SRAMs, large signal arrays, ROMs, caches) for Intel CPUs and SoCs. You will collaborate with domain experts to deliver high-quality memory technology and drive circuit innovations on advanced CMOS processes for high performance, high density, and low-power embedded memories. What You'll Do
- Technical readiness, memory circuit design, characterization and simulations.
- Cache design, critical path simulations and design of custom blocks to meet Power/Performance/Area constraints.
- Memory path-finding activities and memory PPA optimization.
- Memory bit-cell and complex periphery IC design and automation.
- Memory array/IP design and memory circuit innovation.
- Methodology definition and execution of project schedules.
