Job title: CPU Design Verification Engineer
About the Role Performs Pre-Silicon functional verification of CPU logic to ensure design will meet specification requirements. Develops IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage and confirm to CPU microarchitecture specifications.
What You'll Do
- Perform Pre-Silicon functional verification of CPU logic to ensure design meets specification requirements.
- Develop IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage and alignment with CPU microarchitecture specifications.
- Execute verification plans and define and run system simulation models to verify the design and uncover bugs.
- Replicate, identify root causes, and debug issues in the Pre-silicon environment; implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
- Collaborate with CPU architects/RTL developers to improve the design and verification process.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with pre-silicon functional verification of CPU logic.
- Experience developing IP verification plans, test benches, and verification environments.
- Proficiency in executing verification plans and running system simulation models; debugging and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to replicate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Strong collaboration with CPU architects/RTL developers.
