Couture Tailor (Bridal, Evening & Occasion Wear)
Responsibilities
- Cut, sew, and finish garments according to measurements, patterns, and design instructions.
- Construct well-fitted bridal, evening, and occasion pieces, including padded and structured designs.
- Produce and assess toiles or sample garments, and amend patterns after fittings.
- Handle alterations, fittings, and adjustments to achieve the perfect fit.
- Produce made-to-measure garments with excellent attention to detail.
- Work confidently with a range of fabrics, including delicate and structured materials.
- Collaborate with the designer and production team while managing assigned pieces independently.
Requirements
- 2-3 years professional tailoring experience, with a strong background in bespoke or couture garment construction.
Salary
N30,000 - N40,000 per outfit, depending on the technicality of the piece.
