About the Role The Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage Municipal Division is seeking a decisive, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and goal oriented professional who is committed to total quality management and superior customer service. Under the direction of Court Executive 2B (Municipal Division Manager), Court Executive 1B (Assistant Division Manager), and other supervisory personnel, the selected candidate will perform professional administrative functions overseeing and supporting the Vicinage's 37 municipal courts. The role requires the ability to work independently and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, providing information to court users, judges, municipal court staff, members of the bar, other divisions of the Superior Court, and outside agencies.

NOTE: Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position. Travel within the multi-county vicinage is required.

REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and support the vicinage's 37 municipal courts, providing professional administrative functions.
  • Communicate effectively with court users, judges, municipal court staff, bar members, other divisions of the Superior Court, and outside agencies.
  • Work under the direction of Court Executive 2B and other supervisory personnel to ensure quality management and customer service.
  • Maintain regular and predictable presence at the worksite; travel within the vicinage as required.

  • Strong information-sharing and customer service orientation; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders (court users, judges, staff, bar, outside agencies).
  • Willingness to travel within the multi-county vicinage.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary ranges: Schedule A: $54,434.49 to $89,181.84; Schedule B: $54,434.49 to $84,722.75. Newly hired individuals start at the minimum salary; current Judiciary employees promoted receive an annual increase of 5% of base salary up to max of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with up to 2 remote days; regular presence on site and travel within vicinage required.
