Job title: Course Organization and Materials Management Assistant
About the Role This is a remote, part-time student employee position to support course organization, materials management, and resource development for online courses in the School of Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy. The role emphasizes inclusive design and professional standards.
What You'll Do
- Organize and maintain course resources (readings, handouts, recordings, and documents).
- Assist with formatting and preparing syllabi; upload/update to Brightspace; align course pages; manage module structure; create checklists; enhance student usability.
- Conduct research to identify current materials; maintain a diverse resource library representing varied perspectives; present findings for supervisor review.
- Manage scheduling: attend weekly supervision; coordinate appointments; maintain course calendar; send reminders; track deadlines.
- Respond to non-clinical inquiries; route clinical or complex questions to supervisor; draft course announcements; maintain confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
- Perform other admin tasks within supervisor's official duties.
What We're Looking For
- Enrolled graduate student at Antioch University with current eligibility for Federal Work-Study.
- Interest/experience related to sex, sexuality, gender identity, relational diversity; strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Zoom, email, Brightspace; reliable internet; comfortable with fully online work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain professional boundaries.
Nice to Have
- Prior enrollment in or completion of DMT 6480 or DMT 5180 or equivalent.
- Experience in academic support, peer mentoring, or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with GSERD frameworks; experience formatting academic documents and Brightspace; experience working with neurodivergence.
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time, 5-10 hours/week; remote; Start 8/17/2026; End 6/1/2027; 100% remote. Specific salary not listed; work-study eligible.
