About the Role We are seeking a motivated and dependable Courier Driver with a valid DOT certification to join our dynamic logistics team. You will safely transport goods and packages to various destinations while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting timely deliveries in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ locations with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and load/unload records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or issues encountered What We're Looking For
- Valid DOT driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving equipment, forklift operation, and pallet jacks
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform manual transmission driving is a plus
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, loading/unloading cargo, and extended driving shifts
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving Nice to Have
