Job title: Country Manager, PH
About the Role The Country Manager for the Philippines will promote and sell Trouw Nutrition's value propositions and services to existing and potential customers, and build strong relationships at all levels. You will lead the sales/account plan for your portfolio and drive commercial objectives for Nutreco's Trouw Nutrition business in the country.
What You'll Do
- Develop and co-create the sales plan for the assigned area and execute it to achieve objectives and targets.
- Acquire and retain new customers through direct visits, phone outreach, referrals, and other channels within delegated authority.
- Build trust with customers by identifying needs, advising on solutions, and driving satisfaction, loyalty, and growth.
- Practice value selling by uncovering implicit needs and demonstrating how products/services meet explicit needs.
- Resolve customer issues promptly in collaboration with Sales and Customer Services.
- Coordinate and continuously improve sales processes and tools, record outcomes of calls, and plan future actions to move deals forward.
- Provide management with insights from quantitative and qualitative data to support timely decisions and strategy.
- Maintain and expand product/technical knowledge and work with Marketing and Pricing to prepare quotes.
- Participate in sales and customer service projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales and account management experience in a B2B environment, with ability to plan and execute a sales strategy.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with customers at varying levels.
- Ability to identify customer needs, tailor solutions, and demonstrate value.
- Problem-solving mindset with effective issue resolution and customer service mindset.
- Ability to gather and communicate market/portfolio insights and contribute to management reporting.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Pricing, and other internal teams.
- Willingness to participate in projects and travel as required.
