Job title: Counter Team Members & Baristas - Tatte Northeastern
About the Role Our front-of-house team members welcome and care for guests in our cafés, with roles spanning counter service and barista craft. You’ll learn product knowledge, operate the POS system, and help maintain a clean, inviting café environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide gracious, high-quality service to guests and engage with them throughout their visit.
- Take orders using our POS system, and relay product knowledge to customers.
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes; deliver coffee beverages and food.
- Maintain clean and well-stocked stations; uphold café cleanliness and visual/brand standards.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards and company policies; assist with other duties as needed, including weekends/holidays.
What We're Looking For
- Customer-facing cafe experience preferred; ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand 8+ hours.
- Strong communication, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Interest in coffee and bakery offerings; willingness to learn.
- Ideally 1 year of barista experience using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- 1 year of barista experience with manual espresso equipment (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Counter Team Members: $11.75–$14.25/hour + tips; Baristas: $13.25–$16.25/hour + tips.
