Costing Officer
About Global Organics Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Costing Officer to manage product costing, cost control, variance analysis and margin optimisation while providing financial insights to support pricing and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate product and production costings.
- Analyse material, labour, overhead and production costs.
- Monitor and investigate cost variances and prepare costing reports.
- Analyse product margins and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Monitor inventory valuation and production costs.
- Provide costing insights to Management, Finance, Procurement and Production teams.
- Maintain accurate costing records and effective cost-control processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in costing, management accounting or financial analysis.
- Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of product costing, cost accounting and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP/accounting software experience is an advantage.
- Strong commercial, analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
