Cost Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role OHB System AG is seeking a Cost Engineer (m/f/d) for Bremen to manage cost engineering activities across feasibility studies to implementation proposals for diverse space programmes and customers, including ESA, EC, and DLR. This role supports multiple domains from Earth Observation to Telecommunications and Science Exploration, contributing to in-house cost input collection, analysis, and optimization. What You'll Do

• Manage and support cost engineering activities from feasibility studies to implementation proposals across subsystems and end-to-end systems.
• Provide costing expertise to the project team, coordinating collection and validation of cost inputs from internal departments and external teams/suppliers.
• Coordinate cost engineering activities to deliver required cost analyses that meet customer and internal requirements in quality and on time.
• Support cost optimization efforts, ensuring technical, programmatic, financial, georeturn, and other constraints are properly reflected.
• Ensure cost analyses are reviewed according to internal policies and aligned with management, business development, procurement, and controlling stakeholders.
• Contribute to defining internal processes and tooling/templates for cost engineering.
• Support organizing and delivering in-house trainings on cost engineering. What We're Looking For
• Completed studies (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering or equivalent (mechanical, electrical engineering, physics).
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel (VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot, PowerBI).
• Very good communication skills in oral and written English.
• Experience in the space sector.
• Security clearance (as applicable).

• Experience in the commercial space sector
• Knowledge of SQL language
• System engineering or Project Management background (2+ years)
• Cost engineering experience
