Job Description
- Supervise daily cost control operations across all hotel departments.
- Monitor inventory movements, stock counts, and cost of sales to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review purchasing, receiving, and store procedures to maintain effective cost controls.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports and analyze variances.
- Ensure accurate pricing and recipe costing for food and beverage operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and support month-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Culinary, and Operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to operational costs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Cost Control team to maintain high performance and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Cost Control within the hospitality industry, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, food and beverage costing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP and hotel management systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
