Cost Accounting Manager
Primary Function of Position: This position is responsible for overseeing all cost accounting activities within the manufacturing environment, providing management with accurate and timely financial data to support strategic decision-making. This position ensures the integrity of product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis in alignment with Corporate Policies and Procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining Cost Accounting SOPs, DOPs, and Work Instructions aligned to corporate guidelines and SOX compliance.
- Manages day-to-day activities related to standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis, and ensures timely completion of the Month End Close Process.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost reporting and explains variances over Budget and Forecast.
