We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost Accountant, FSC

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse production costs and compare actual costs against budgets and standard costs.
• Prepare product costing, cost forecasts, budgets, and profitability reports.
• Review procurement and production costs to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend measures to improve profitability.
• Maintain accurate cost accounting records, reports, and databases.
• Support audits, month-end and year-end financial activities.
• Prepare regular cost and management reports for decision-making.

Requirements

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years experience in Cost Accounting, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production costing, inventory management, procurement, and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Salary

N400,000 - N450,000 monthly.
