About this role

Corporate Travel Sales Manager (Philadelphia Region)

AAA Club Alliance is seeking to hire an experienced Corporate Travel Sales Manager who is interested in developing new business opportunities in the Philadelphia region!

We are looking for a professional with Corporate Travel experience interested in working at AAA – a company known for its stellar brand, exceptional member service, a leader in the travel industry and an award winning work environment.

This position is responsible for acquiring profitable new corporate travel business through a complex, consultative sales process. The role owns the full pursuit lifecycle—from target-account strategy and executive discovery through solution design, competitive RFPs, technology demonstrations, financial modeling, contract negotiation, close, and transition to implementation. The position must translate a prospect’s business objectives into an integrated travel management solution encompassing service delivery, traveler experience, technology, data and reporting, duty of care, supplier programs, meetings and events, and program governance. Success requires disciplined pipeline creation, resilience, executive presence, strong financial acumen, and the ability to mobilize cross-functional resources to win.

This position can work from home. However, the candidate must reside within our hiring territory to be considered for the opportunity. The ideal candidate will work remotely from the Philadelphia region.

What We Can Offer You:

  • A competitive starting salary 61,959 - 90,000. The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.

  • 3+ weeks of paid time off accrued during your first year
  • 401(K) plan with company match up to 7%
  • Professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement
  • Paid time off to volunteer & company-sponsored volunteer events throughout the year
  • Other benefits include a free AAA Premier Membership, Health & Wellness Program, Health Concierge Service, Life Insurance and Short Term/Long Term Disability

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory and target-account plan to generate profitable new business in assigned market segments and achieve annual sales, revenue, and profitability objectives.
  • Own complex sales cycles that may extend 12–24 months or longer, maintaining momentum through organizational changes, budget cycles, procurement requirements, competitive evaluations, and delayed decision timelines.
  • Create new opportunities through strategic disciplined prospecting, executive networking, referrals, industry relationships, professional associations, conferences events, social selling, and coordinated marketing activity; cultivate campaigns; build sufficient qualified opportunities and relationships that support current and future-year growth.
  • Lead discovery with senior executives and functional stakeholders to understand travel spend, service requirements, traveler needs, policy and compliance goals, risk and duty-of-care priorities, technology environment, data needs, supplier strategy, and financial objectives.
  • Translate complex client requirements into differentiated, integrated travel management solutions that may include online booking, agent service, mobile tools, data and reporting, account management, supplier programs, meetings and events, payments, risk services, and implementation support.
  • Lead formal RFP, RFI, and non-RFP pursuits from qualification through close, including pursuit strategy, written responses, pricing and commercial models, presentations, technology demonstrations, finalist meetings, reference coordination, and follow-up.
  • Build consensus across buying committees and establish trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite executives, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Security/Risk, Travel Management, Technology, and other decision-makers and influencers.
  • Develop compelling business cases that quantify value, savings, traveler experience, program control, service quality, and return on investment; clearly articulate differentiators in a highly competitive TMC market.
  • Lead negotiations involving pricing, incentives, service-level commitments, performance measures, implementation assumptions, and contract terms while protecting profitability and managing risk.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional pursuit teams across Operations, Account Management, Technology, Implementation, Meetings and Events, and executive leadership; establish clear deliverables, timelines, and decision points.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, opportunity strategies, probability assessments, activity, next steps, close plans, and revenue forecasts; communicate risks, resource needs, and competitive developments to leadership.
  • Conduct disciplined qualification and prioritization to focus resources on opportunities with a credible path to a profitable win; document lessons learned from won and lost pursuits.
  • Partner with Implementation and Account Management to ensure complete handoff of contracted commitments, commercial assumptions, client expectations, and key relationships; remain engaged through launch as appropriate.
  • Maintain current knowledge of corporate travel trends, travel technology, distribution and content, supplier economics, competitor capabilities, buyer priorities, and regulatory or risk developments; use market intelligence to strengthen sales strategy.
  • Represent AAA Club Alliance professionally at national, regional, and local corporate travel and business travel events; network effectively with buyers, industry partners, and influencers to expand market visibility, identify prospective clients, generate leads, and develop and build strong relationships that can mature into qualified opportunities across the corporate travel ecosystem.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
