About this role
A Corporate Learning & Development Officer is sought for a role based in Lagos Island, Lagos. The successful candidate will design and deliver learning solutions for corporate clients across sectors, focusing on board programs, curricular development, and executive-level business development. This position requires strong relationship management, market insight, and the ability to coordinate both virtual and physical training delivery, while contributing to quarterly targets and ongoing performance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop curricula for courses delivered to corporate clients across sectors
- Maintain strong knowledge of board programs and integrate them into learning solutions
- Create learning solutions proposals for clients across sectors
- Coordinate the delivery of corporate courses via virtual or physical modes
- Conduct extensive business development at the executive levels of corporate clients
- Manage relationships to deepen existing corporate partnerships
- Conduct continuous research to track changing client learning needs
- Meet quarterly market share and financial targets
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports
- Conduct training needs analysis surveys and research
- Liaise with managers and assist in creating training processes
Requirements
- HR or related background with a 2:1 or first-class degree from a top-tier university
- A second degree or professional qualification is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of Learning & Development experience
- Curriculum development experience
- Evidence of meeting and exceeding sales targets at the executive levels
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills
- Strong B2B business development skills
- Strong experience in the Financial Services, Technology, or Energy sectors
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong networking ability
- Board-level training experience is an added advantage
