About the Role

Ripple is seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to manage vendor contracts and support our product lines including payments, custody, and stablecoin. You will report directly to Ripple’s Deputy General Counsel and play a key role in implementing innovative financial solutions across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Manage our increasing number of vendor agreements and streamline the process.

  • Assist the Company’s sales and business development teams with commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating term sheets and definitive documentation.

  • Manage the deal process.

  • Manage and budget for external advisors engaged on such projects.

  • Assist with other commercial or corporate matters as needed.

  • What We're Looking For

  • J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.

  • A minimum of 7 years of practice, ideally as a corporate attorney at a major law firm and at a fintech startup.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Ripple’s product, marketing, engineering, security, tax, and finance teams to ensure agreements align with internal corporate policies and processes.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, judgment, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and act decisively.

  • Competence in presenting complex issues clearly and concisely, providing succinct, practical, and effective legal advice.

  • For NY-based roles, NY Annual Base Salary Range $228,000—$285,000 USD; actual salaries may vary based on experience and qualifications; this range does not include equity or additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
