About the Role Perkins Coie is seeking a mid-level Corporate & Securities associate for our Chicago office. The role focuses on strategic transactions and financings for companies at all growth stages, in a broad range of industries, as well as general corporate representation including complex commercial contracting and corporate governance. You will collaborate with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national level and be part of a collegial team.
What You'll Do
- Work on transactional corporate & securities matters, including strategic transactions and financings for companies at all growth stages.
- Advise on general corporate representation, including complex commercial contracting and corporate governance.
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national level.
- Assist with drafting, negotiation, due diligence, and closing of deals.
What We're Looking For
- 4 to 7 years of transactional experience, preferably in corporate & securities.
- Experience with strategic transactions, financings, and general corporate matters, as well as complex contracting and governance.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-service skills; ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $310,000 to $420,000 annually.
