Role Overview

  • We are hiring an experienced Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager to lead the organization’s corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, sustainability agenda, reputation management, and policy advocacy.
  • The role will drive initiatives that strengthen the company’s corporate reputation while advancing its ESG and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an integrated corporate communications strategy across internal and external channels.
  • Lead the design and execution of sustainability and ESG initiatives aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, NGOs, investors, communities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead reputation management and crisis communication, ensuring timely and effective responses to emerging issues.
  • Monitor relevant government policies, regulations, and industry developments and support corporate advocacy initiatives.
  • Oversee the preparation of sustainability, ESG, and corporate affairs reports in line with applicable standards and reporting requirements.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans that support the company’s business and sustainability priorities.
  • Lead and mentor the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team, driving performance and professional development.
  • Provide senior management with insights on emerging corporate affairs, sustainability, regulatory, and reputational issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
  • Proven experience managing corporate communications, stakeholder relations, and reputation management.
  • Strong experience in sustainability/ESG programmes, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working with government/regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the FMCG business environment and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and crisis-management skills.
