About this role
A full-time Corporate Accounting & Reporting Specialist (all genders) position with Edenred based in Kleinostheim, Germany, near Frankfurt, available as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Process the monthly financial statements for the 21 UTA Group entities in a timely manner and prepare and submit the monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial statements of the UTA Group as part of Edenred Group reporting, including intercompany reconciliations
- Upload and validate financial data in consolidation and reporting systems such as IBM Cognos Controller, FIRST, TM1, and K-Shuttle, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Act as the main point of contact for local service providers of UTA subsidiaries and coordinate reporting-related activities
- Maintain and validate key reporting data, including P&L and balance sheet details, leasing contracts, FTE figures, KPIs and other financial information
- Support Edenred Group reporting by preparing consolidation adjustments, tax reporting, annual disclosures, and reporting submissions for UTA subsidiaries
- Contribute to the implementation of new reporting requirements and help ensure efficient, high-quality reporting processes across the Group
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, or a similar finance function
- Solid knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS, with experience in financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with consolidation and reporting systems, such as IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), and Oracle HFM (FIRST), including data uploads and ad hoc analyses
- Strong analytical skills with a structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused approach
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Fluent English required; German is a plus
