Key Responsibilities

Maintain, monitor, and optimize core network infrastructure for high availability and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, serving as a key escalation point.

Monitor network performance, including latency, packet loss, and throughput.

Configure and manage routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and IPS/IDS solutions.

Support network security and ensure configurations align with required standards and policies.
-
Participate in network upgrades, new technology deployments, capacity planning, and infrastructure projects.

Implement network automation and monitoring solutions to improve efficiency.

Maintain accurate network documentation, procedures, and technical records.
-
Support disaster recovery and risk mitigation initiatives.

Collaborate with other technical and business teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers where required.

Requirements & Skills
-
Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
-
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and load balancers.
-
Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and network security.

Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible and/or Python.
-
Knowledge of VoIP, LTE/5G, or mobile core technologies is an advantage.

Strong network troubleshooting and performance analysis skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP/JNCIP are an added advantage.
