Airbus Helicopters España, SA is seeking an IT Operation Specialist to support the IT infrastructure and applications for Systems Engineering (SE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments. This role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of critical IT services used in helicopter design and development.

DESCRIPTION

• You will be part of a team in the E2E development domain, which delivers digital solutions for the entire end-to-end development process of our helicopters.

• Developing complex systems like helicopters requires robust Systems Engineering as a foundational discipline to ensure we build the right product, the right way.

• As part of the PSL System Engineering, you will support our core system engineering applications by continuously enhancing the platform’s efficiency, reliability, and security.

• Proven experience in IT operations or systems administration, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Citrix, Hive).

• Familiarity with SE/MBSE concepts and tools (e.g., DOORS, CATIA, Cameo Systems Modeler, Windchill) is a plus.

• Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

• TASKS

• Ensure to maintain the IT infrastructure for SE/MBSE tools and platforms, including servers, storage, networks, and virtual environments.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SE/MBSE software applications and their dependencies.

• Monitor system performance and availability, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

• Provide technical support to users of SE/MBSE tools, addressing incidents and service requests in a timely manner.

• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures within the SE/MBSE environment.

• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Collaborate with development teams, systems engineers, and external vendors to optimize IT services for SE/MBSE.

• Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

• Participate in IT projects related to upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations for SE/MBSE.
