Your role:

• Data Entry: Accurately input and update complex deal data, song splits, and metadata into in-house global publishing administration system.
• Data Integrity: Clean, format, and verify regional metadata to ensure seamless data flow across internal platforms and external global networks.
• Agreement Registration: File and register regional and international publishing agreements, administration deals, and catalog acquisitions with local CMOs.
• Manual Song Registrations: Execute local song registrations manually where regional societies require hands-on submission rather than automated electronic batch deliveries.
• Dispute Investigation: Research, identify, and prepare documentation to resolve society-level counterclaims, double claims, and ownership conflicts.
• Share Adjustments: Track and follow up on documentation revisions with CMOs to unlock frozen or suspended royalty pools.
• CMO Issue Tracking: Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, ingestion rejections, and documentation discrepancies directly with local collection societies.
• Responding to Queries: Provide prompt, helpful, and transparent support regarding copyright, registration shares, and splits directly to songwriters and artist management teams.

About you:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of direct experience in music publishing copyright metadata, performance rights organizations (PROs/CMOs), or general entertainment data entry.
• System Knowledge: Experience with proprietary music databases or content management systems; basic familiarity with music publishing formats is a plus.
• Data & Tech Literacy: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle repetitive, complex datasets. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required.
• Communication

Skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills; capability to respond professionally and politely to client queries and external partners.

• Ability to read and write in English & Chinese (Simplified and Traditional)
