Salary Information
Starting salary: $73,071 – $79,519 The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Pay Grade: AM
Job Summary
Coordinate academic program quality, operations, assessment, industry engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives within Manufacturing, Engineering, Trades, and Transportation (METT) programs. Collaborate with faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners to ensure alignment with college priorities, accreditation requirements, workforce needs, industry expectations, and student success outcomes while advancing program effectiveness and operational excellence.
Essential Functions
Coordinate academic continuous improvement, program review, assessment, and faculty development efforts. Manage multi-year review and assessment cycles, including data collection, documentation, and action plans. Work with faculty and academic leadership to maintain accreditation compliance, improve program outcomes, and support implementation of the Quality Faculty Plan.
Coordinate pathway operations and resource planning to support effective instructional delivery across the district. Coordinate maintenance schedules, safety compliance activities and protocols, operational needs, and related documentation in collaboration with faculty, staff, vendors, facilities, and college administration. Monitor equipment, facility, and technology needs; assist with budget planning, lab coordination, equipment planning, and resource allocation. Assist with the development and implementation of departmental and curricular policies, procedures, and objectives. Work on grant processes connected to the pathways.
Maintain industry and community engagement, serving as a primary liaison to business and industry partners, trade organizations, advisory boards, and workforce partners across DMACC’s service area. Coordinate advisory committee meetings, promote active industry participation, and ensure follow-up on recommendations that strengthen programs. Develop partnerships related to internships, apprenticeships, community projects, grants, workforce training, and regional industry initiatives that enhance student learning and program relevance.
Coordinate adjunct faculty employment; recommend personnel actions related to hiring, firing, compensation, performance evaluation, individual development plans, training, leave, discipline, grievances, work assignments or appointments, related policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements and the EEO/AA plan. Maintain faculty qualification and quality assurance documentation.
Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to enrollment, completion, student success, workforce outcomes, accreditation metrics, and pathway performance. Analyze and communicate findings to support decision-making, continuous improvement, and reporting. Collaborate with student support services and cross-functional teams to align METT initiatives with retention, completion, and student success goals.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education, business, industrial technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience; or an associate’s degree in a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible related experience; or a (postsecondary) diploma and ten (10) years of progressively responsible related experience. Demonstrated project management experience coordinating complex projects and initiatives, including managing timelines, stakeholders, resources, deliverable, and competing priorities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources; identify trends, opportunities, and develop data-informed recommendations. Experience preparing reports, presentations, executive summaries, assessment documentation, accreditation materials, and other information to support leadership decision-making. Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate instructional, facility, technology, equipment, and workforce development needs. Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, coordinate stakeholder input, document outcomes, and support implementation of initiatives. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities and support continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management, reporting, and analytics systems. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel through the college service area.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in high education, community college, workforce development, or career and technical education environments, including knowledge of community college programs and student support services. Experience in program development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of accreditation, assessment, and program review processes. Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, trades, transportation, or related industries. Experience coordinating advisory committees and industry partnerships. Experience supporting grants, workforce training, internships, apprenticeships, work-based learning, or other employer-partnered initiatives. Experience with facilities management, equipment planning, capital replacement planning, or safety compliance. Knowledge of workplace, laboratory, or instructional safety practices and applicable compliance requirements. Knowledge of labor market, workforce, and economic development trends.
