Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental dishes.
- Plan and organise daily meal preparation according to approved menus.
- Ensure meals are properly seasoned, cooked and presented.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage, handling and preservation of food items.
- Monitor food supplies and report items running low.
- Minimise food wastage and ensure effective use of ingredients.
- Inspect food ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.
- Ensure meals are ready and served at scheduled times.
- Follow food safety procedures and company kitchen policies.
- Assist in menu planning and suggesting new meal options.
- Monitor portion sizes and maintain consistency in food quality.
- Work effectively with other kitchen personnel.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.
Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
