About the Role The Cook is responsible for the culinary quality and preparation of food for catering orders on-site for Air Culinaire Worldwide. This role supports production, adheres to recipes and safety standards, and collaborates with kitchen management to deliver high-quality menu items. What You'll Do
- Prepare hot foods, salads, sandwiches, canapés, desserts, sauces, and all cold preparations according to established recipes or customer requests.
- Ensure culinary quality, food safety, including HACCP compliance, accurate labeling and allergen information on all trays.
- Work on-site with all cooks, prep staff and management; assist with shopping, inventory and production of specialty items not in ACW specifications books.
- Take immediate action on orders and produce high-quality menu items per instructions from the GM or kitchen management.
- Train and direct new and existing Air Culinaire team members; monitor quality and provide feedback to management.
- Assist in butchering of meats and fish; support daily kitchen operations; maintain safe, sanitized kitchen; document temp-logs; use gloves and food-safety tools.
- Assist in ordering, inventory and other duties as assigned by the General Manager; use Shipday for all order logistics and deliveries, including delivery photos and recipient names.
- Ensure all food preparations and presentations meet ACW specifications and quality standards.
- Follow company procedures regarding food quality, safety, customer satisfaction and cost. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days of hire.
- Knife/cutting skills and understanding of cooking techniques.
- Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering; experience with new culinary trends preferred.
- Ability to take orders, follow through, and work well in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.
- Operational flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds; ability to stand for long periods; reading, math and reasoning skills. Nice to Have

- Salary: $18-$20 per hour (USD).
