Job title: Controls Specialist - 3rd Shift
About the Role The Building Management Systems (BMS) Controls Specialist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is responsible for installing, programming, commissioning, and maintaining BMS controls and graphics to optimize HVAC, lighting, and other facility operations. This is a 3rd shift, on-site role designed to support campus facilities operations.
What You'll Do
- Install, program, commission, and maintain BMS controls and graphics to optimize HVAC, lighting, and other facility operations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliable and energy-efficient building operations.
- Collaborate with facilities teams to respond to maintenance requests and support 24/7 operations as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience or familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC control technologies is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site and on the 3rd shift (Sun-Fri 11pm-7am), with willingness to participate in overnight differential as applicable.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Certifications or prior work in facilities maintenance or controls are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $52.75 - $55.53 per hour (100% on-site) with overnight shift differential eligibility.
