About the Role A Controller for the HYDRO division service business, based in Schio (VI) Italy. Responsible for planning, monitoring, and analyzing the company's economic and financial performance and supporting management in decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Overseeing economic control by monitoring costs, revenues, margins, financial risks, and project progress.
- Collaborating with Project Management and other functions to accurately determine costs to complete and understand project performance.
- Preparing periodic financial and management reports, analyzing actual results and variances versus budget/forecast.
- Contributing to the definition of forecast, budget, and plan within their area.
- Supporting cost center planning and performing variance analysis between actual, budget, and forecast figures, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Participating in monthly and annual closing activities, contributing to accuracy of management accounting records and data reconciliation.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Economics or Management Engineering.
- Experience of at least 3–5 years in management control, preferably in project-based companies.
- Knowledge of controlling principles, management accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; proficient with PC/Office.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of SAP; Spanish will be considered a plus.
- Availability for travels in other regions.
Nice to Have
- SAP experience (already included), Spanish language as a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Package: €35,000 – €50,000 per year.
