Job title: Contrôleur de gestion (H/F)
About the Role Role: Controlling/Cost Controller (H/F) for sourcing & supply chain at Valenciennes Petite-Forêt site. You will be responsible for cost tracking, budgeting and forecasting across multiple projects related to components, raw materials, inflation, fixed supplier costs, and logistics.
What You'll Do
- Analyse and justify variances between actuals and forecast per project in collaboration with business managers (volume, purchase price, activity, inflation, etc.)
- Support business managers in understanding and interpreting results
- Participate in defining objectives, action plans, and decision-making
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Identify risks and raise alerts in case of deviations
- Ensure adherence to group financial rules
- Establish budgets and quarterly forecasts for your scope
- Actively contribute to improving the rolling monthly forecast process for your area
- Lead regular meetings with operational teams and the finance team
- Participate or lead continuous improvement projects for finance and operations teams (digitalization of tools, industrial & sourcing strategy, task forces, etc.)
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in finance, purchasing, logistics or engineering with a real appetite for finance and industry; about 3 years' experience in cost controlling, logistics, purchasing or engineering is desirable
- Strong skills in: rigor, organization, analytical and synthesis abilities, communication, flexibility/adaptability, advanced Excel, information systems and databases, critical thinking and creativity; knowledge of SAP and Power BI
