Job title: Control Room Operator
About the Role The above position is based at our Witbank Branch and is responsible for ensuring an efficient flow of fleet schedules, issuing of confidential information, and ongoing tracking of the fleet to support secure operations. This role requires close coordination with drivers and branch management to meet client needs and maintain security standards.
What You'll Do
- Prepare for fleet departures
- Monitor the CIT schedules
- Track control by taking data from drivers every hour
- Issue OTC codes to drivers
- Maintain contact with all drivers
- Ensure all client schedules are collected for any given day
- Maintain all documentation and administration duties
- Maintain constant communication with Branch Management
- CCTV monitoring
- Ensure security and basic access control
- Basic client liaison
What We're Looking For
- Clear criminal record
- PSIRA accreditation with Grade C (advantageous)
- At least 1 year of control room experience in security or a similar role
- Computer literate (compulsory)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Clear disciplinary record
- Honest and reliable; good verbal and language abilities
- Pays attention to detail
- Customer service and relations
- Self-motivated
- Quality assurance
- Willing to work overtime
