Contracts Manager/Site Agent - Construction Industry
RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable building contractor in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager / Site Agent to oversee multiple building projects and ensure their successful delivery in line with programme, budget, quality and safety requirements.
This opportunity is suited to a qualified construction professional who has progressed through the ranks within a leading construction company and has extensive experience managing diverse building projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building Science or a related discipline.
- 10–20 years’ experience in building construction.
- Career progression from graduate or student level into a Contracts Manager role.
- Previous experience with Tier 1 construction contractors.
- Exposure to a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, retail developments, schools and similar building works.
- Proven experience overseeing multiple projects through site engineers and foremen.
- Strong leadership, planning, commercial and project management capabilities.
