- Are you an experienced contracts professional with expertise in contract strategy, commercial negotiations, contractor management, and contract administration? We are looking for a strategic professional to support major project contracting activities and drive effective commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Contracting & Materials Management Strategies aligned with project objectives
- Support Contracting Strategy Workshops and evaluate contracting alternatives
- Lead/support contractor screening, pre-qualification, and bid slate development
- Review bid plans, evaluation criteria, and contract award recommendations
- Provide strategic oversight of complex contract administration matters, including claims and incentive plans
- Support contract planning, development, and administration activities
- Mentor and develop contracts, EPC, procurement, and materials management professionals
- Deliver training on contracting processes, bid reviews, and contract strategy
- Engage contractor executives, partners, and affiliate contracting teams on strategic issues
- Promote lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices
- Support organizational competency and contracting systems/process improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in contracts engineering, contract administration, or materials management
- Experience in project leadership and major project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
- Strong understanding of project execution and contracting principles
- Expertise in commercial negotiations, contractor management, and contract administration
- Experience with owner/operator project management environments
- Management experience on major projects
- Knowledge of company controls, standards, and contracting requirements
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel or relocate to domestic/overseas project sites
