About the Role Contract Management IAPAC role focusing on reviewing, analyzing and negotiating contracts and agreements such as supplier contracts, license agreements, cooperation agreements, and terms & conditions. You will develop standards for all types of contracts, collaborate with legal and compliance teams, and provide Contract Management training to the APAC organization. You will communicate with stakeholders with intercultural sensitivity and support regular legal and business meetings to monitor contract-relevant projects. You will manage the Legal Online (LEO) internal contract management system and explain contract contents to internal and external customers. What You'll Do
- Review, analyze, draft, and negotiate supplier contracts, license agreements, cooperation agreements, and terms & conditions.
- Elaborate and implement contract standards for all types of contracts.
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance departments.
- Manage the Legal Online (LEO) internal contract management system.
- Draw up own contracts and review third-party contracts.
- Provide Contract Management training, including lessons learned, to the APAC organization.
- Inspire stakeholders and contact partners with effective communication and high intercultural sensitivity.
- Participate in regular legal and business meetings to review and stay apprised of pending and upcoming projects with contract relevance.
- Explain contract contents and legal peculiarities to internal and external customers in a simple and clear way.
- Drive with Continental and contribute to organizational and analytical solutions. What We're Looking For
- Degree in business administration and/or law, economics or comparable.
- Business fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional language skills welcome.
- Professional experience in sales, purchasing, controlling & reporting/planning advantageous.
- Good oral and written communication skills; ability to write clearly and prepare professional communications.
- Deep understanding of the industry business, products, markets and strategic thinking with organizational and analytical skills for detailed and results-orientated solutions.
- Intercultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Nice to Have
