About the Role The role designs and assists customers in the design of semi-custom Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and board level systems. It involves collaborating with customers to understand business and technical objectives and selecting the right tools, devices, and methods to help achieve those objectives. What You'll Do
- Architect, code, synthesize, simulate, test and debug electronic systems.
- Provide estimates for completion of tasks and activities.
- Understand customer’s business and technical objectives to determine the optimum tools, devices, and methods the company can offer to assist in the achievement of those objectives.
- Evaluate, recommend, specify, install and maintain design tools. What We're Looking For
- Experience in hardware design and verification of ASICs and FPGAs.
- Ability to translate customer objectives into actionable design approaches and tool selections.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging and collaboration skills.
