Consulting Analyst

About the Role Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa that solves strategic problems for clients in payments and financial services. We are seeking a Consulting Analyst with deep experience in AI agentic systems to design, test, and deploy agentic workflows in a regulated, high-impact environment. This is a hybrid role where AI capability is complemented by an interest in financial services. What You'll Do

• Strong AI foundations: capable of designing prompt architectures for agentic workflows and automating banking operations
• Experience designing and running structured evaluation cycles: measuring factuality, format compliance, task completion; documenting failure modes with actionable improvements
• Experience maintaining prompt libraries, evaluation datasets, experimentation logs, and guiding prompt versioning, A/B testing, and performance tracking
• Awareness of the AI landscape: tracking new models and frameworks (Visa TAP, OpenAI/Stripe ACP, Google AP2) and synthesizing findings into internal briefings
• Ability to prototype and demonstrate new agent capabilities and translate emerging AI techniques into practical client solutions
• Experience supporting AI agentic workflow engagements for financial institutions and merchants in Southern Europe from discovery to deployment
• Ability to map client processes for agentization: document flows, integration points, decision trees, and automation gaps in payments and banking workflows
• Ability to translate financial services domain requirements (compliance, authorization, onboarding, settlement) into agent specifications and prompts
• Prepare client-facing deliverables including process assessments, technical docs, and progress reports aligned with VCA standards
• Support go-to-market activities for AI Agentic Workflows and Agentic Commerce, including client workshops and sales materials
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and ROI-focused benchmarking to feed proposals and implementation plans
• Contribute to intellectual capital: playbooks, reusable prompts, evaluation benchmarks, and case studies
• Participate in client meetings and workshops with senior team members, taking ownership of technical analysis workstreams and agent demonstrations
• Apply AI expertise to the payments and financial services sector, building differentiated skills at the intersection of AI and finance
