Consultant Trainer – Electrical Engineering
- IRES is seeking an experienced Consultant Trainer – Electrical Engineering to deliver technical training, professional development programmes, workshops and electrical engineering consultancy assignments.
Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver technical training programmes in electrical engineering.

Develop training materials, presentations, case studies and practical exercises.

Facilitate technical workshops and professional learning sessions.
-
Translate technical concepts and industry practices into practical learning.
-
Provide technical input into training proposals, curricula and consultancy assignments.
-
Provide technical advisory and subject-matter expertise on electrical engineering assignments.
-
Keep training content current with relevant technologies, standards and industry practices.
-
Assess participant learning and provide constructive feedback.

Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience
-
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
-
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
-
Relevant Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
-
Registered and licensed by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
-
Current membership of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
-
Relevant professional certification in the consultant’s area of specialisation, where applicable.
-
Demonstrated experience in professional training, facilitation, technical presentations or knowledge transfer.

Consultancy Role Focus

Mode of Engagement

The Consultant Trainer will be engaged on a need basis for specific training and consultancy assignments. The scope, duration, deliverables and professional fees will be agreed before each engagement.
