Job title: Consultant / Senior Consultant
About the Role Blue Matter is a rapidly growing strategic consulting firm serving clients in the life sciences industry. As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will join a Blue Matter project team to develop creative solutions to our clients’ problems, starting by working directly with our clients to understand and define the problem, and developing insights into an impactful and actionable recommendation.
What You'll Do
- Execute on assigned project tasks
- Prepare materials for project meetings
- Execute analysis of primary and secondary research efforts
- Create and utilize analytical tools to support decision making
- Develop materials communicating results of analyses
- Identify key insights, recommendations, opportunities, and threats to inform corporate and commercial strategies
- Demonstrate accountability for completion of project responsibilities
- Regularly engage senior level clients
What We're Looking For
- Scientifically trained (either by experience or academic accomplishments) with consulting experience
- 2+ years of prior consulting or commercial pharma experience for Consultant; 3+ years for Senior Consultant
- Advanced degree(s) (PhD, MD, MBA, or MS) preferred
- Critical Thinker; Collaborative; Communicative; Proactive
- Ability to hit the ground running in a project team
