About the Role We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications, with a focus on data quality. The ideal candidate will plan and execute test strategies, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Plan, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual/functional testing; verify quality, reliability, and performance
- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Validate data via SQL and backend testing
- Track defects and work with Jira or Azure DevOps to manage defects
- Contribute to STLC/SDLC adherence and work within Agile/Scrum environments
- Explore and support automation testing with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium as applicable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of manual and functional testing methodologies
- Experience creating/executing test plans, test cases, test scenarios
- Hands-on API testing experience (Postman or similar)
- SQL knowledge for database validation and backend testing
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of STLC and SDLC
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium (advantage)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- ISTQB or other QA certifications considered an advantage

- Experience testing web, mobile, or enterprise applications
- ISTQB or QA certifications (advantage)
