About the Role Industry X's Manufacturing & Operations practice focuses on digital reinvention of manufacturing. This role supports industrial and automotive reinvention by leading large-scale manufacturing engineering initiatives, including brownfield transformations, greenfield plant design, and product launch readiness.
What You'll Do
- Support delivery of Industrial and Automotive reinvention, including transformation of brownfield plants, design of greenfield plants, and readiness for new product launches.
- Apply understanding of manufacturing and supply chain value levers in industrial and automotive environments, including implementing new digital, AI, and physical automation technologies.
- Manage projects or workstreams end-to-end (scope, planning, risks, dependencies, delivery outcomes) and adapt to evolving client priorities.
- Lead and coordinate diverse, global Accenture teams; provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and quality oversight; leverage AI and digital tools to improve delivery effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships at the manager, director, and senior director levels through clear communication and structured problem solving.
- Collaborate across Accenture Supply Chain & Engineering to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions across manufacturing operations, platforms, and supply chain.
- Contribute to manufacturing-focused thought leadership, including client-ready materials, points of view, and case examples related to manufacturing transformation, lifecycle integration, and product launch readiness.
- Develop and maintain awareness of the Industrial and Automotive ecosystem, including key platforms, vendors, and emerging capabilities relevant to operations and execution.
- Support evolution of Accenture’s Manufacturing reinvention offerings, with opportunities to grow into broader capability, account, or portfolio leadership roles over time.
- Travel may be required (0-100% depending on business need and client requirements).
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years experience as part of a team focused on manufacturing engineering and material flow in automotive and industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated exposure to material flow and manufacturing engineering in automotive/industrial manufacturing plants.
- Experience with workstreams such as designing material delivery routes, 2D/3D simulations, IT/OT integration considerations, PFEP, business case considerations when deploying automated mobile robots (AMRs).
- Understanding of key vendors, risks, technologies in this space is of critical importance.
- Bonus points if you have: shop floor change management, performance improvement, business case and value management; understanding of related ERP modules.
