Green Barns Health is supporting an international recruitment campaign for experienced Consultants in Maternal-Fetal Medicine interested in senior appointments in Saudi Arabia.

This campaign is particularly relevant to experienced Consultants currently practising in the UK, Ireland and Europe who are considering a move to Saudi Arabia.

The appointments are subject to specific professional training, specialist qualification and experience requirements set by the hiring organisation.

The Opportunity

Approximate total monthly package: SAR 50,000 - 65,000 (approx. £9,950 - £12,950 a month) Tax-free salary in Saudi Arabia Initial one-year renewable contract Renewable for up to a maximum of 10 years, subject to applicable terms and conditions 48 working hours per week Paid annual leave of 22 working days or 30 calendar days, as applicable

In addition to the tax-free salary, the benefits package includes:

An accommodation allowance equivalent to 25% of salary A transport allowance equivalent to 10% of salary Medical insurance provided by the employing hospital for the successful candidate and eligible family members Annual return flights for the successful candidate and eligible family members to their country of origin

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must hold a recognised postgraduate specialist qualification awarded in the UK, Ireland or another European country, with evidence of completed specialist training and established consultant-level practice in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

• Qualifications must meet the client’s requirements for consultant eligibility in Saudi Arabia.

• European Board certificates alone are not sufficient. Applicants must also hold an accepted national specialist qualification.

• We cannot consider applicants whose postgraduate specialist qualifications were awarded solely outside the UK, Ireland or Europe.

• Candidates holding recognised board or specialist qualifications from the UK, Ireland, USA, Germany, Australia or Canada require 3-5 years of post-specialty experience.

• Candidates holding other recognised European specialist qualifications should have approximately 5-7 years of post-specialty experience.

• Who We Are Looking For

• We are seeking experienced Consultants in Maternal-Fetal Medicine currently practising at Consultant level, with recent relevant clinical practice, appropriate professional registration, a clear specialist career history and genuine interest in relocation to Saudi Arabia.

• Working Hours and On-Call

• The working requirement is 48 hours per week.

• On-call duties will be determined according to the operational requirements of the hospital. On-call frequency will not normally exceed one in every three days.

• Locations

• Opportunities will primarily be available across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Abha and Jazan.

• These locations offer strong infrastructure and access to international airports, international schools, shopping and family amenities.
