About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, analytical, and detail-driven consultant to join the Administration & SLA Management team at IDB Invest. Under the guidance of the Lead Officer, you will support the operational implementation and continuous strengthening of the SLA framework, focusing on performance management, metrics design, service delivery coordination, and process improvement. Depending on business needs and profile, you may focus more on performance management and continuous improvement, or on coordinating and executing corporate services workstreams within the SLA framework. This role sits in the Controllership Division (CTR) of the Finance and Administration Department, which oversees accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and budget, valuations, and SLA management. What You'll Do

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of IDB Invest’s Administration and SLA Management function, with a focus on service delivery, performance monitoring, metrics, and process improvement.

  • Coordinate corporate support services under the SLA framework, ensuring timely execution, effective follow-up, responsiveness, and service continuity across stakeholders.

  • Support the design and monitoring of SLA performance mechanisms, including KPIs, dashboards, service metrics, issue tracking, escalation paths, and management reporting.

  • Monitor SLA operational performance, including service quality, timelines, costs, volumes, backlogs, risks, and related operational indicators; identify issues, trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, and coordinate follow-up actions as needed.

  • Contribute to the implementation and refinement of SLA workflows, tools, reporting processes, operational guidelines, and accountability practices.

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder follow-ups by preparing materials, consolidating inputs, documenting discussions, tracking agreed actions, and supporting timely execution.

  • Collaborate closely with IDB Invest and IDB counterparts to promote coordination, operational alignment, service responsiveness, and continuous improvement across administration and SLA-related functions. What We're Looking For

  • Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, law, finance, systems information, project management, or a related field required.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in service management, project management, corporate support services, operations, performance monitoring, process improvement, or related fields, preferably within financial, multilateral, or international organizations. The candidate should be able to coordinate operational workstreams, analyze data, support service delivery monitoring, and communicate clearly through technical or operational outputs. Experience with KPIs, dashboards, reporting, or corporate services coordination will be valued.

  • Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required. Compensation & Benefits

  • A competitive compensation package.

  • Leaves and vacations: 2 days per month of contract + gender-neutral parental leave.

  • Health Insurance: the IDB Group provides a monthly allowance for the purchase of health insurance.

  • Savings plan: depending on the length of the contract, you will receive a monthly savings plan allowance.

  • We offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your family when it applies.

  • On-site position with the occasional flexibility of teleworking.

  • Development support: learning opportunities to boost your professional profile, such as seminars, 1:1 professional counseling, and much more.
