Job title: Construction Underwriter
About the Role Construction Underwriter will be part of the UW teams reporting to the Head of Construction. Based in Mexico City, the role focuses on building a profitable portfolio, delivering customer-focused service, and collaborating with distribution and underwriting teams to support growth.
What You'll Do
- Quote submissions.
- Build a profitable portfolio.
- Underwriting and operational excellence across all the business by ensuring adherence to underwriting methodology, risk appetite, line setting, guidelines, business rules and pricing adequacy.
- Comply with SLAs.
- Promote synergies among all Distribution, other underwriting teams, and other support staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, producers, reinsurers, and other partners.
