Role Overview
We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to act as the on-site representative, interacting with third-party vendors and contractors. This role ensures daily plans are executed according to established processes, procedures, and safety standards. The position provides technical support for energy projects, including route development, refinement, and field verification to support pre-construction preparation.
Key Responsibilities

Provide contractor monitoring and oversight for assigned work.

Develop and refine project routing criteria, considering cost, engineering, and environmental constraints.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, electrical, and construction standards on-site.

Serve as the on-site representative, managing daily interactions with third-party vendors and contractors.

Monitor and promote site safety to protect personnel and equipment.

Create daily logs, take progress photographs, and communicate updates to project leadership.

Manage the installation of electrical components, including cable and conduit installation, splicing, testing, and foundations.

Implement and adhere to Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Coordinate with subject matter experts across Engineering, Environmental Services, Legal, Development, and Land departments.

Required Qualifications
-
Education: An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience: 11 to 15 years of experience are required in managing the technical aspects of routing, siting, and construction projects, particularly with electrical installations.

A functional understanding of key criteria for developing routing is necessary. Basic computer skills for creating logs and reports are also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous military experience, such as in roles like Navy electricians or engineers.

Work Environment

Driving will be a required part of this position's duties. A valid, non-restricted driver's license is necessary.

Travel within the US is expected, at approximately 25%, with assignments lasting between 4 to 6 months.

The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed.
